Oxford Street is not the only shopping place in town. You have to go to Harrods along Brompton Road in Knightsbridge a little south-west from Oxford Road. This place has 4.5 acres of space along seven floors of the building. From men's to women's wear, children's wear, furniture, sports, shoes, bags, house ware, any so many other things, you can find practically all you want here. There are of course the restaurant and cafes for you to rest and take stock of things. Knightsbridge isn't only known for Harrods, you can also find designer boutiques like Dolce& Gabbana, Gucci, Prada and Giorgio Armani in the area.
The adjacent South Kensington area also boasts of a lot of shopping stores, including a Lamborghini showroom if you fancy.
The Mayfair area is a very high end place just south of Oxford Street, with luxury shopping to boot. Like Thomas Goode located along South Audley Street which produces high quality china and silverware and other hand-made collectibles. There is also MonBlanc located along Old Bond Street; high-end writing instruments, watches and other exquisite jewellery. There are a host of other stores in the location.
